Curb Damage

Driving on flat tires, over road debris, or potholes can result in curb rash on the face, spokes, or lip of your alloys. United Tires technicians will repair alloys wheels, prime, color-match, paint and clear-coat your tyres using the same OEM-approved paint technology that car manufacturers use.

Corrosion

Roadside salts, chemicals, tire sealants and brake dust can cause corrosion on your alloys, especially if it has dents, curb damage or scratches. Our alloy wheel repair service for corrosion is similar to that of curb damage.

Gouges

When your rims come in direct contact with road debris and other hazards, it can cause gouges to appear on the alloys. In this case, the alloy wheel repair involves CNC machining and welding. In some cases, it is unsafe to repair significant gouges on the spoke or rim. If that is the case, you will require an OEM replacement wheel.

Cracks

Hard impacts, such as that caused by car accidents, often require CNC machining and welding. Repairing alloys wheel cracks on spokes, or in cases where the bead set is damaged, may be unsafe. Depending on the amount of damage, you may have to buy an OEM replacement wheel instead.

Backside Bends

Backside bends are common on the wheel’s inner lip, but it can also occur on the face, spokes and outer lip when you drive over a curb, pothole or other road hazard. We will perform a thorough inspection to ensure that there are no cracks. Then we will measure the run out to determine the safety of straightening the wheel. If it is, we will return the bends using our patented system.
